Privacy policy
Synced Stays is operated by FoodTrukt LLC ("we"). We provide direct-booking websites, payments and calendar sync for vacation-rental owners ("owners"), and the owner dashboard they use. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Owners and their staff: name, email address, mobile number (only if you sign up for text alerts), and your rental and business details.
- Guests who book on an owner's site: name, email, phone (optional), the dates and details of the stay, and whether you asked for deal emails.
- Payments: processed by Stripe on the owner's own Stripe account. We never see or store full card numbers; we keep only Stripe's reference codes.
- Website visits: counted without cookies. We record the page type and where the visit came from (for example, a search engine), not your IP address or identity.
How we use it
- To take and manage bookings, payments, refunds and security deposits.
- To send the emails and texts the service needs: confirmations, arrival details, cancellations, owner alerts, and deal emails to guests who opted in.
- To show owners their bookings and performance, and to keep the service secure.
Who we share it with
- The owner of the rental you book receives your booking details, as they host your stay.
- Service providers that run parts of the service for us, only for that purpose: Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Twilio (text messages), Cloudflare (hosting and security), Backblaze (encrypted backups).
- When the law requires it.
We do not sell personal information.
Text messages
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories above exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. See the text message terms.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and payment records as long as the owner's account is active and as required for tax and accounting. Encrypted backups are kept for 90 days (daily) and 12 months (monthly), then deleted.
Security
Our database is encrypted, connections use HTTPS, and access is limited to people who need it.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from deal emails with the link in any of them, and stop texts by replying STOP. To see, correct or delete your information, email [email protected].
